About Us
Welcome to The Academy!
The Ukrainian Academy of Dance is happy to be celebrating their 37th anniversary this year. We are passionate about creating a professional environment for Ukrainian dance training, and creating a dance company that proudly tours the world. The Academy has trained over 1,500 dancers since 1987, and produced Arkan Dance Company, a senior semi-professional performing ensemble that has entertained over half a million people world-wide. Dancers with a passion move up to a group that travels the world.
The Academy boasts one of the finest collections of ethnographically-diverse costumes from Ukraine, many collected while the founder traversed on foot through over a hundred villages in Ukraine during several folkloric research trips. Join us in our commitment to quality Ukrainian dance training!
